One of the most taboo topics in society is money. There is so much emotion and self-worth tied up in how much we earn. How does the amount of money we have dictate our participation in community, when day school, kosher food, houses in Beverlywood, and just living in LA are so expensive? How does money impact how we judge ourselves and each other? How does it affect us if we are a “have” and are continuously asked for donations or if we are a “have not” and can’t keep up with the Joneses?
