Inclusion at BDJ
Guiding Values
B’nai David-Judea is a welcoming community for individuals of all ages and abilities. In our spiritual space, everyone is accepted and valued. We work closely with Jewish Family Service (HaMercaz) to create an inclusive shul community.
Safety
We are committed to trying to keep our premises as safe as possible for those with severe and life-threatening allergies and those with compromised immune systems.
Allergy Awareness - Please DO NOT bring nuts into our building. For more about our allergy safety efforts, click here.
Vaccinations - All youth in our programming must be vaccinated or provide a medical exemption letter. For more info, click here.

Supporting Inclusion
The Janet Wolf z''l Inclusion Fund
This fund, in memory of our beloved Janet Wolf who embodied inclusiveness and sensitivity, enables BDJ to do the big and little things that make our Shul more inclusive and accessible for all. These services include inclusion training for Rechov Yeladim counselors, physical accessibility enhancements, and social programs for young adults of all abilities.
If you would like to make a donation towards our inclusion work, we would appreciate the support.
