Once again, as the Holidays approach, our thoughts turn to our loved ones who will not be with us, except in spirit. We honor their memory, and we cherish their dedication to the ideals of Judaism and their loyalty to the Jewish people, by inscribing their names in the Yizkor Memorial Book, which this year will be mailed to each member prior to Yom Kippur. To commemorate your loved one(s) – parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends – please fill out the information in our Yom Kippur Memorial Book form.
This year, in addition to submitting names, we also invite you to participate in "Stories of Our People". Because memorializing our loved ones has been so hard this year, we wanted to offer a space to share stories and memories of your loved one(s) who have passed in the previous year so that our whole community can honor and hold their memory. Please submit eulogies no more than 500 words for us to include in our Yom Kippur Memorial Book this year. By sharing and honoring the memory of loved ones, we have the opportunity to deepen our relationships with our community members and in this way, our stories become one family story, the story of our people.
Because of logistical challenges due to COVID, we ask that you send your submissions no later than August 15th. Thank you for your cooperation!
