Rechov Yeladim | Shabbat, Jan. 15

Dear Rechov Yeladim Parents, Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we have been navigating Rechov Yeladim over the past several weeks. This coming Shabbat, January 15th, our original intent was to resume our normal Rechov Yeladim schedule. The ongoing Omicron surge has resulted in a shortage of counselor staff for this Shabbat. We greatly appreciate your flexibility, as we implement the adapted Rechov Yeladim offerings for this Shabbat.  Please see below for the full details and guidelines of our tentative plan (we will finalize on Friday morning).  God willing, we will be able to resume the fullness of our Rechov Yeladim program next week, January 22nd and will be back to operating Rechov Yeladim for all ages! ~Guidelines for Shabbat, January 15th~ We will be providing Rechov Yeladim for 2s-3s, 4s-5s, and 1st-3rd graders ONLY. Babies under 2 and 4th-6th graders are invited to join their parents in the main shul, following main shul guidelines as well. 2s-3s, 4s-5s, and 1st-3rd groups will all meet in their ordinary locations within the building (snack for 2s-3s and 4s-5s will take place outdoors).  Here are the safety guidelines we will have in place: - All children are welcome to come as long as they are asymptomatic and wear their masks for the whole morning (except when actively eating or drinking).  - For unvaccinated children, they must either have no known exposure in the past two weeks (per parent’s attestation) or may also attend if they do have a known exposure but have had a negative test between 2-12 days after exposure. Please direct any questions to Claire Hurwitz at youth@bnaidavid.com, or to Talya Stein (talya.y.stein@gmail.com) or Rachel Lesin (rachelkasirer@gmail.com), Rechov Yeladim co-chairs.   With prayers for health and healing,  BDJ Leadership
