The BDJ Israel Committee, together with the newly named Arts and Culture Committee (formerly Boomers), invite you to experience an exciting evening of art and Israeli Literature. 

We will gather in a private home, where we will first enjoy viewing an exhibition of paintings by our own BDJ member, Sonia Levitin. Sonia is an accomplished artist, who has offered to showcase several of her works. All paintings will be available for purchase, and 100% of your purchase will be donated to NATAL, Israel’s premier trauma organization, which BDJ has chosen to support throughout the year. We are grateful to Sonia for this beautiful gesture.

The second part of the evening will be a facilitated conversation about several Israeli short stories (translated into English). We will examine the writings of a number of contemporary Israeli writers, looking at what informs the subject and message of their stories.

After registering, you will receive the literature that will form the basis of our conversation, as well as the address where the program will take place.
