Erev Tisha B'Av - Monday, July 31 On Monday we will be davening Mincha at 6:00 PM to enable us to eat the Seudah HaMafseket (the ritual final meal) before the Fast begins. The Seudah must conclude by sundown at 7:54 PM. Ma’ariv/Eichah will be at 8:15 PM. Tuesday, August 1 On Tisha B'Av morning, we will have two minyanim for Shacharit and Kinot.  The first will be at in the BDJ Beit Midrash at 6:30 AM- 8:30 AM. At 8:30, we will have our traditional joint minyan with YICC and Beth Jacob. This joint Shacharit and Kinot will be hosted by Beth Jacob. At 11:45 AM there will be a showing of the film Daring to Rescue: Untold Stories of Jewish Rescue. In the afternoon, everyone is encouraged to participate in our annual Mincha and learning program with Temple Beth Am and IKAR, hosted by Temple Beth AM. BDJ’s Mincha Minyan at Beth Am (with Tallit and Tefillin) will begin at 5:50 PM, to be followed at 6:30 PM by “The Diaspora Debate: Upside of Exile?” Dr. Aryeh Cohen Teaches and Reflects Upon the Classic Talmudic Discussion from Ketubot, followed by chavruta breakout sessions. There will also be Mincha at BDJ at 7:25 PM followed by Divrei Torah and Ma’ariv at 8:15 PM. The Fast ends at 8:24 PM.
