So Close?

February 14th, 2011 No comments

Hi everyone

I was riveted by the this article in yesterday’s NY Times Magazine. It’s a detailed account of how close PM Olmert and PA President Abbas had come to an agreement. Seems so far away right now. Or maybe not? I encourage you to take a look, and to let me now what you think!

Project Chicken Soup Rocks!

February 7th, 2011 No comments

Yesterday (Feb. 6) I took advatnage of our Tikkun Olam partnership with Project Chicken Soup, and packaged and delivered hot meals for people living with HIV/AIDS. We did it as a family, together with Catherine Schneider and her boys. (I saw Joel Wolf there too!) It was a GREAT experience. The project is organized and professional, and the interactons we had with the clients when we came to their doors, were very special. The kids (aged 7 - 10) got a lot out of it I think, and the experience was positive on every level. Many thanks to Tikkun Olam co-chair Dalia Youngerwood.  Keep your eyes open for the next Project Chicken Soup - BDJ date!
